Forging a stronger future in Fargo-Moorhead

Welcome to our “Faces of the BIA” series! We are excited to introduce you to the organizations and people behind our Building Industry Association. It’s all about fostering connections, celebrating our members and helping you get to know the incredible companies that make up our BIA family!

Strong communities are built through relationships, collaboration and shared involvement. For many professionals in the Fargo-Moorhead area, participation in the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley provides opportunities to connect with others, support industry growth and contribute to the future of the region.

Among those active in the BIA-RRV are Natalie Tuchscherer and Austin Wicklund of Bravera. Both have built their careers in the financial industry while maintaining a strong commitment to community engagement and industry involvement through the association.

Natalie brings nearly 20 years of industry experience, while Austin has worked in the industry for approximately 10 years. Through their involvement with BIA-RRV events, committees and networking opportunities, they have developed valuable relationships with builders, business owners and fellow members throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Austin has been especially active within the organization, previously serving as chair of the BIA Ambassadors and continuing to support the association through volunteer involvement and committee participation. Both he and Natalie value the opportunity to stay connected to the people and organizations helping shape the future of the region.

More about Austin

Austin earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from North Dakota State University and graduated from the Dakota School of Banking. A lifelong resident of North Dakota and originally from Fargo, he has been working in the financial industry since 2016.

For Austin, involvement in BIA-RRV has provided an opportunity to build relationships, learn from industry professionals and give back to an organization that serves an important role in the community.

He says, “The BIA has been a great way to connect with professionals across many different areas of the industry and better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our communities.”

Banking runs in Austin's family, with several family members having careers in the industry. He enjoys building connections and contributing to organizations that support local growth and development.

More about Natalie

Natalie earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and child development and family science from North Dakota State University. Originally from Donnybrook, North Dakota, she has worked in the financial industry since 2003.

Over the course of her career, Natalie has gained experience across many areas of banking and financial services. Her broad background has given her the opportunity to work with individuals and businesses in a variety of capacities while building lasting relationships throughout the community.

Natalie appreciates the connections she has made through the BIA and the opportunity to engage with fellow members who are passionate about strengthening the Fargo-Moorhead area.

She says, “Being involved in the BIA allows you to meet people from many different backgrounds and professions. It's rewarding to be part of an organization that brings people together and supports the growth of our community.”

Bravera's involvement in BIA-RRV reflects a broader commitment to community engagement and industry participation. Team members regularly attend events, volunteer their time and support initiatives that bring professionals together to share ideas, build relationships and strengthen the region.

Fargo Market President David Johnson says, "Organizations like the BIA play an important role in bringing people together. We appreciate the opportunity for our team members to get involved, build meaningful connections and support the communities where we live and work."
