BIA & Home Builders Care honor outstanding volunteers

The Building Industry Association of the RRV and Home Builders Care of F-M Foundation are excited to recognize this year's top volunteers, celebrating their dedication to the association, the industry and the community. A committee of staff and members chose the three "volunteer of the year" honorees. They will be recognized at the New Year Celebration Jan. 29!


BIA Builder and Associate Volunteers of the Year

These are our top awards honoring members who go above and beyond in industry promotion, community involvement and leadership. Both Adam and Bob will represent the BIA-RRV at the North Dakota Association of Builders’ awards banquet in November.

Adam Olson - Allstar Construction

Adam Olson, Allstar Construction (pictured above left) has been honored as Builder Volunteer of the Year for his leadership and advocacy. As BIA-RRV president, Adam has guided strategic planning for the Association and Home Builders Care Foundation, driving initiatives that strengthen workforce development and member engagement. He supports new member development and programs like the Herdina Construction Trades Camp as well as navigating local jurisdiction challenges. Beyond the region, Adam represents the industry on the boards of both the North Dakota Association of Builders and National Association of Home Builders, engaging with legislators and shaping housing policy. 

Bob Miller - Cass County Electric Cooperative

Bob Miller, Cass County Electric Cooperative (pictured above right) has been named Associate Volunteer of the Year for his outstanding service to the BIA-RRV. As secretary on the board of directors and longtime member of the Education Committee, Bob fosters member engagement and promotes industry education. Known for his servant-leader approach, he is always willing to pitch in behind the scenes — whether volunteering at the Home & Garden Show, hauling items for office needs or events, or making calls for member retention and recruitment. He also helps guide CCEC’s strong support of BIA programs and networking opportunities, reflecting his dedication to collaboration and building community connections.

This award highlights members who are passionate about giving back through our charity’s workforce development and housing projects.

Tyler Holland - Holland Enterprises

Tyler Holland, Holland Enterprises (pictured above left), has been named Home Builders Care Foundation Volunteer of the Year for his enthusiastic leadership and hands-on commitment. As Foundation president, Tyler has played a key role in strategic planning and strengthening ties between the HBC and the BIA, shaping a shared vision for future growth. He’s a familiar face at fundraising events, selling raffle tickets at the Muddy Boots Picnic and teeing off at golf outings as a volunteer golf pro. Always accessible and upbeat, Tyler brings energy and optimism to every effort, reflecting his passion for advancing HBC’s mission.
